Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport| Accor invest| 2017 - 2022

Floormanager F&B, Supervisor FO, Heartist Trainer, Team Coach, Operations Planner 

IBIS Schiphol Amsterdam Airport being until recent the biggest hotel in all the star classification in BeNeLux with 644 rooms, two restaurants, a bar, a take away shop, BQT, tours and diners and stranded passengers was one of the biggest learning points in my career. Operationally I am responsible for all the activities carried out in all these F&B outlets, starting with staffing and points of attention, planning and quality control. As a coach working with a team of almost 40 members and being a direct mentor to a group of 8, I am responsible for setting up general training for the team, as well as personalized development targets and trajectories (think P.O.P. and monthly coaching talks suited for individual development). Furthermore administrative activities are also a great deal of my task package. Stock take (working with Materials Control), registrations, preparing financial reports, keeping up with the financial targets such as payroll and F&B percentage cost report as well as developing new concepts and sales products within the F&B department.

I am proud to call myself a cat person, a foodie, a life student and self-development junkie. Love to take on new ventures professionally or simply take a vacation to a new place. I’m also loyal and one for all and all for one kind of person. Highly structured when it comes to planning and executing, I like to measure the cake before it will be cut in pieces.

Supervisour F&B, Manager on Duty

My Daily duties in TCH were managing daily operational activities in the F&B department, quality control, coaching and mentoring staff (with extra attention to students following different learning routes), complaint screening and handling, daily administrational activities, maintaining effective communication with the other departments. Event planning was also a big part of my work – meeting with potential clients and organizing events to every last detail according to their wishes, such as, weddings, parties, photoshoots, private dining, meetings and corporate events.  Also regular Manager on Duty shifts were part of my duties.

 My Hotel experience started with NAC, where I gained extensive knowledge about hotellerie. In just a few years I grew to be a strong team leader, an all-around F&B employee, with extensive knowledge in wines, spirits, cocktails and food, developed sales strategies, upsell competitions, soliciting and training new employees.
